We have seen short films shot with iPhone models many times before. However, the waters are not calming down in the Android market either. Xiaomi wants to develop mobile filmmaking with its newly established sub-brand called Xiaomi Studios. Targeting the Indian market, the studio prepared a short movie with Xiaomi 13 Pro.
This short movie was shot using Xiaomi 13 Pro
Xiaomi has activated Xiaomi Studios in India, supporting content creators. The new sub-brand will allow beginner and professional filmmakers to produce cinema-quality movies and videos with Xiaomi models.
To celebrate the new brand, Xiaomi Studios released The Rolling Ball, a short film shot entirely on the Xiaomi 13 Pro. Speaking at the event, Xiaomi’s Marketing Manager said that Studios will make filming with Xiaomi devices accessible to everyone.
The Rolling Ball also highlights the creative potential of smartphone cameras. Produced in collaboration with Dolby and Qualcomm, the movie showcased stunning visuals made with the 13 Pro’s advanced camera setup.
Xiaomi aims to reduce barriers for people who want to make movies and make the filmmaking process fairer. Through Studios, the company invites talents from all walks of life to explore and produce cinematic content with a smartphone.
Xiaomi 13 Pro has a triple camera array on the back; 50.3 megapixels (main camera), 50 megapixels (telephoto) and 50 megapixels (ultra wide angle). On the other hand, a 32 Megapixel f/2.0 aperture selfie camera welcomes us in front of the phone.
